NCBC Environmental Commitment

The NCBC has always taken great strides to produce the premier conference on building commissioning while creating as little environmental impact as possible. On the 16th anniversary year, the NCBC is proud to announce the official PECI Green Conference Policy. Working with partners such as the Climate Trust and Global Green Sponsor Working Buildings, the conference is taking steps such as requiring hotel recycling programs, limiting direct mailings, using only 100% recycled post-consumer products, and offering carbon offsets to conference attendees.

In addition, the conference is asking that speakers provide presentations in the form of PDFs for conference attendees in order to limit printed handouts. We are asking exhibitors to try and limit their giveaways, to focus on reusable or recycled giveaways, and to use recycled paper and print double-sided wherever possible.
