Basic Retrofits
Regular maintenance of refrigeration systems—such as gaskets, strip curtains, and auto-closers— is very important in keeping the systems running optimally to maximize energy savings. Our Program can identify basic retrofit needs so that Supermarkets can reduce their energy consumption. We are also able to identify utility rebates to help offset much of the cost of these maintenance measures making it attractive for Supermarkets to participate. Our programs are wide reaching, spanning utility territories all across CA, OR, WA, MT, and ID.
Our Program services include:
- Wide-scale store audit
- A representative sampling of all stores in participating utility territories
- Presentation of energy-saving opportunities and associated ROI
- Partnering with supermarkets’ utility representatives, energy consultants, and contractors
- Qualified contractor referral
- Proposal and/or project review to ensure adherence to terms and conditions
- Quality check after measures are installed as needed
- Facilitation of the rebate paperwork process
